1.    It is still not too late to attend our FREE SOCCER CLINICS at Bosti for all ages (intramural soccer players only), on the following Sunday mornings from 9:00-10:00 AM.  Sunday October 30th, November 6th and 13th.  The clinics are being run by Ed Brust who has coached at the Intramural, Travel Soccer, High School Varsity and college level. This is a great way for your kids to have fun and get extra training for FREE! The kids who attended last week’s session had a great time! 2.    TO ALL COACHES:  As you may know we have an AED in our equipment shed.  Hopefully we will never have to use it, however, we do need people to be certified in case we do.  We are offering to all coaches a 2 year certification class.  This class costs $45.00, however, the club will subsidize this cost so each coach that wants to get certified will only have to pay $10.00!! (payable the night of the class).  We have limited space for the following dates:  Tuesday October 25th, 7:00-9:30 PM, Conference Room at St. John’s School building, or Tuesday November 1st, 7:00-9:30 PM, Classroom #3, St. John’s School building in Bohemia.  We only have 10 slots per class. 3.    Every team will have the opportunity to have TWO (or more) FREE SOCCER CLINICS with the NOGA Soccer coaches.  These clinics are a great way for your kids to have FUN and improve their soccer skills.  Coaches can use this clinic as your practice for the week, or to supplement your practice, but we strongly encourage everyone to participate.  The clinics will be held every Thursday, with the schedules to be announced in the weekly bulletin.  This is the last clinic scheduled:

We would like to welcome all of the new players from our Late Registration last week.  We had a great turnout and have added many new players to most teams. Some of the announcements are repeated from last week as we have a number of new players this week. 

1.    Please make sure you are aware of our website which is:  www.stjohnscyo.org
This website will announce if we have a rain out (usually posted by 8:30 AM).  If we do cancel on Saturday, we will play on SUNDAY, the exact same time as the previous day.  The website also has the schedules for each division, and will also have the weekly announcement posted. 
2.    Please note that the full Season Under 6 MICRO Schedule is now on our website.
3.    If you ordered a uniform On-Line, they will be on the table bagged with your name on it for pick up before your game.
4.    For everyone’s safety, please note that we have an AED on site (in our equipment shed), along with Ice Packs and a First Aid Kit.  In case of emergency, call 911.
5.    If your team is the last scheduled game on that field, you are to put away the equipment in our equipment shed. We are also handing out to each team our Field Maintenance form to set up the fields.  We are asking each family to volunteer one time to help set up the fields.  Please sign up on the sheet today, and have your coach hand in to our referee at the end of the game today. 
6.    We need volunteers from 1:30-3:00 PM today to help with seeding and fertilizing of our fields.  Also, if anyone has a pick up truck that we could utilize during that time, it would be greatly appreciated.  We need your help to maintain and upgrade our fields.
7.    Picture Day is next Week. All coaches will be getting a packet today on this.  ALL TEAMS ARE TO REPORT TO THE FIELD 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED GAME TIME FOR YOUR PICTURES.  PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE AND HOLD UP YOUR TEAM.
